Have you ever sensed that God was calling you to do something, but it seemed impossible? Are you a little afraid that God might call you to do something in the future that seems impossible? As followers of Jesus Christ, part of who we are is the hands and feet of Jesus. “Go into all the world and make disciples…” Sounds kind of impossible to me too but, if anyone is going to believe in the God that we serve; there is a lot of work to be done for the Kingdom. There is some rebuilding to do when it comes to our faith. Come find out how to do your part in changing the world for good in “Workers and Warriors: A Study of Nehemiah”.

Young to examine literary concepts and thoughts, along with the central themes of God's love, the Trinity, and the living of the Christian life. We will examine parallels with the Christian faith demonstrated throughout the story and characters of the book covering topics such as repentance, faith, the wrath of God, the exchanged life, and the practical truth of the Trinitarian God.
“Have A Little Faith”
By: Mitch Albom
Location: Mt. Zion Campus
Time: Thursday 6:30 – 8:00 pm
ATTENTION: This group will be starting on January, 21st! The book is available in stores, on-line, or at your local library. Please read the first section, entitled “Spring” (pages 1-46) in preparation for the first meeting.
This is the story of two worlds: one Christian, one Jewish; one African-American, one white; one poor, one rich. Moving between their worlds—that of an older suburban rabbi and a young inner-city pastor—Albom would find that, although their texts and histories are different, there’s a striking unity between their beliefs. Offering lessons on how to endure in trying times and how to be righteous when the world isn’t, “Have a Little Faith” is a book about finding comfort in something bigger than yourself. It is one man’s journey, but it is everyone’s story.
